Bucaramanga in northern Colombia, on the border with Venezuela. The farm called El Roble, a 740-acre, organic farm owned by Oswaldo Acevedo. Here grow coffee trees on over 226 acres, divided into seven sub-species for commercial production.
In addition, Oswaldo planted 60 different varieties of coffee in a garden.
It is a beautiful courtyard, with a continuous cyclic weather, which means that they - unlike many other Colombian farms - have only one harvest per year: November to January.
The farm is pretty flat, is about 1650 meters above sea level, next to one of Colombia's most spectacular canyons, Chicamocha. This creates a lot of the unique climate that is on the farm.
The coffee offers an intense flavor picture that mainly dominated by fresh, red apples and caramel. Lovely as brewed coffee or gently brewing in aeropress.
- The production is certified organic (SE ECO-01)
