The coffee from the farm Gethumbwini growing at 1800 meters. The extremely high altitude makes the coffee to grow slowly and thus develop the tight black currant character, this coffee is world famous for. The coffee is harvested twice a year: June and November. It is a full-bodied coffee with flavors of black currant and ripe grapefruit. In previous years, we have named this the world's best coffee, try it for yourself so you decide.
A good Kenya must have elements of a juicy black currant explosion and love to have a nice bite of grapefruit acidity in the finish. Very powerful yet elegant, like a classic Cabernet Sauvignon.
