When Johan E from the coffee roastery Johan & Nystrom was on Sumatra in November 2009 he met the legendary Luwak civet cats.
They bought 20 pieces of 1-kg bags of green coffee. It is the coffee we sell as long as the small supplies last.

The small Indonesian civet cat or Luwak - live in the forests surrounding coffee plantations in the Indonesian archipelago, and loves to eat fine ripe coffee.
The flesh of the berries then takes a journey through the digestive system, but the beans are difficult to digest and come with the stools out. They are collected from the ground and the beans are washed, dried and then enjoyd as the world's most expensive coffee worldwide.
Enzymes in the animal's belly is said to give rise to the unique flavor and low acid.
It is 100% genuine Kopi Luwak (we know, Johan & Nystrom was there).
