Finca Carleida is a neighboring farm to the world famous Hacienda Esmeralda and their Geisha has won prizes in the Best of Panama for several years in a row.
The farm was the first in Panama to planting Geisha trees in the 1960s and is managed today by enthusiastic Miguel Jimenez.
Situated right in front of Volcano Baru, at 1560 meters, the farm, therefore, perfect conditions for this difficult cultivated variety.
This year's harvest is from January 2010 and the coffee is vacuum-packed before delivery to the roastery in Tullinge.
The bouquet, we find clear hints of jasmine and orange flowers. The flavor offers notes of vanilla, honey, eucalyptus and a nice citrus as the mandarin.
